Procurement specialists within public sector are under increasing pressure to achieve savings and open up opportunities to SME organisations. Government set an aspiration of 25% of government procurement spend to reach SME’s by 2015. This has been subsequently increased to a target of 33% by 2020. Having a simple and compliant route to market is important for both public sector and SME’s alike.
